The Brazilian Superintendence of Private Insurance (SUSEP) was represented at the Prêmio CSP Bahia event in Salvador on 17 October by its Head of Communications, Flavio Vasconcelos Andrade, who highlighted initiatives aimed at strengthening the insurance market and bringing insurance closer to the public. In remarks at the award ceremony, Andrade pointed to the role of initiatives such as the Prêmio CSP Bahia and Salvador’s Insurance Week in promoting experience-sharing and market development. He reiterated SUSEP’s regulatory and supervisory role in supporting sector solidity and reliability, citing annual revenues of more than BRL 400 billion and around BRL 2 trillion in technical provisions, and also referenced SUSEP’s work on innovation and financial education, including “Meu Futuro Seguro” content designed to guide the public on insurance and financial planning.
