The Financial Planning Standards Board announced that the 10th World Financial Planning Day will take place on Oct. 7, 2026, as part of the International Organization of Securities Commissions’ World Investor Week. The global campaign will promote financial planning as a way for individuals and families to make informed decisions, manage financial pressures and work toward their goals while raising awareness of scams and digital deception. The campaign will bring together the board’s global network and the Certified Financial Planner professional community. The 2025 event reached an estimated audience of more than 231 million people, with organizations in 22 territories participating. Events and programs for the 2026 campaign will be published in September.
