Dubai International Financial Centre reported that active registered companies reached 10,018 at the end of the first half of 2026, exceeding 10,000 for the first time and rising 30 percent over the previous 12 months. The Centre attracted 2,318 new active registered companies, while the number of regulated financial services firms increased 16 percent from the first half of 2025 to 1,134. Growth extended across technology and private wealth. Artificial intelligence, financial technology and innovation firms rose 39 percent to 1,933, while family business-related entities increased 36 percent to 1,408 and foundations climbed 67 percent to 1,409. The Centre also reported USD 4.2 billion in gross written insurance premiums for 2025.
