The Seychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA) issued a public warning about alleged unauthorised virtual asset services linked to the website primexbt-trading.com, which it says is allegedly operated by PRIME TECHNOLOGY LTD. The FSA stated that the company is not, and has never been, authorised to operate under the Virtual Asset Service Providers Act, 2024. PRIME TECHNOLOGY LTD is described as an international business company incorporated under the International Business Companies Act, 2016, and the FSA indicated it has been established as not in good standing due to unpaid annual fees. The FSA reminded consumers to verify that virtual asset service providers and products are properly licensed or authorised in the jurisdiction they claim to operate from, noting that it publishes on its website the list of authorised non-bank financial service providers, including virtual asset services, and registrations of Initial Coin Offerings and Non-Fungible Tokens; it also encouraged the public to report suspected unlicensed activity via the form on the FSA website.
