The Central Bank of Uruguay announced that economist Ana Claudia de los Heros will assume the Vice-Presidency of its Board on 29 April at 15:00, in the Enrique V. Iglesias hall in Montevideo. De los Heros has worked at the Central Bank of Uruguay since 1999, including as manager of the Payments System and as head of Supply, Models and Forecasts in the Economic Statistics area. Her prior experience includes service at Banco República between 1985 and 1999, and she holds economics qualifications from the University of the Republic and the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.
