The Andorran Financial Authority has published its 2025 annual report, detailing its supervisory and regulatory work and setting priorities for the 2026-2029 supervisory cycle. The four priorities are financial resilience and macroprudential risk management, alignment with international regulatory and supervisory standards, operational resilience and digital risk management, and governance, business model sustainability and customer protection. The report assesses the Andorran banking sector as highly capitalized and liquid, with a Common Equity Tier 1 ratio of 17.51%, a liquidity coverage ratio of 257.5% and a low nonperforming loan rate. It also reviews the authority’s work to align the regulatory framework with European and international standards, strengthen domestic and international cooperation, and support financial education, including through an agreement with the Banque de France.
