Hanfa clarified that granting special authorisations or licences for consumer credit activities and credit intermediation falls outside its competence and that it does not issue such licences. It directed the public to the registers of entities authorised to provide credit intermediation services available on the websites of the Ministry of Finance and the Croatian National Bank.
