Poland's Ministry of Finance outlined the country’s agenda for its 2026 participation in the G20 with full member rights under the invitation of the U.S. presidency. Poland plans to use the opportunity to seek a lasting role in the forum and influence discussions on economic growth, investment, innovation, artificial intelligence, trade, energy and resilience. At the G20 finance ministers and central bank governors meeting in Asheville on Aug. 31 and Sept. 1, Finance and Economy Minister Andrzej Domański will present Poland’s experience with deregulation, public-sector digitalization, capital market development and policies to strengthen supply chains, energy and raw material security, and financial stability. He will chair a session on economic growth and hold bilateral meetings on Poland’s future G20 involvement and potential areas of cooperation.
