The Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC) attended the first board of directors inauguration ceremony of the Hong Kong Gold Exchange and the 115th anniversary celebration of the Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange in Hong Kong, and acted as a witness to the signing of memoranda of understanding between the Hong Kong Gold Exchange and Cambodian firms. SERC Director General Sou Socheat, accompanied by Deputy Director General Dr. Vin Pheakdey, participated in the event with the authorization of Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Aun Porn Moniroth, Minister of Economy and Finance and Chair of the Non-Bank Financial Services Authority. The MOUs were signed with Cambodian Derivatives Exchange Co., Ltd (CDX), PP Link Securities Co., Ltd, Cambodia Securities Plc and First Gold.
