The Central Bank of Estonia will not publish crypto asset market statistics or the corresponding statistical release for the third quarter of 2026 because too few crypto asset service providers are operating under licenses issued by Finantsinspektsioon to support publication. Finantsinspektsioon has licensed and supervised crypto asset service providers since July 1, 2026, replacing the previous regime under which virtual asset service providers could operate with Financial Intelligence Unit licenses until June 30. Future publication will depend on whether enough new licensed providers enter the Estonian market.
