The Abu Dhabi Global Market Financial Services Regulatory Authority has warned the financial services community and the public that the websites tungsten-me.com and tgst-me.com are fraudulent, falsely suggest a connection to Tungsten Custody Solutions Ltd, and are not licensed or authorised to carry on Regulated Activities in or from Abu Dhabi Global Market. The regulator said the websites closely imitate the site of Tungsten, which is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority, and may mislead potential investors and the public into believing they belong to Tungsten. It stated that the websites are not associated with Tungsten and believes they were created for the purpose of conducting fraud. The notice also points users to the Financial Services Regulatory Authority Complaints Portal for concerns about fraudulent websites linked to financial services in Abu Dhabi Global Market, to relevant cybercrime reporting channels, and to the Public Register to verify whether an entity holds a Financial Services Permission.
