The National Bank of Serbia published May 2026 operating data for its payment systems, showing 18.2 million payments settled over 20 working days in its RTGS and Clearing systems. RTGS accounted for 17.5 million payments, or 96.2% of the total, while the Clearing system processed 0.7 million payments, or 3.8%. Average daily volume reached 912,213 payments, including 877,158 in RTGS and 35,055 in the Clearing system. In value terms, turnover in the RTGS system was RSD 15,341.1 billion, compared with RSD 20.0 billion in the Clearing system, equal to 0.13% of the combined value. Average daily turnover was RSD 767.1 billion in RTGS and RSD 1.0 billion in the Clearing system. Over 11,160 minutes of production time, neither system experienced outages and both recorded 100.0% availability. In the National Bank of Serbia's foreign exchange Interbank Clearing System and International Clearing System, which has 21 participants, settled transactions totaled EUR 246,480,407.81, and those systems also operated without interruptions and with 100.0% availability.
