Moldova's National Commission for Financial Markets has licensed International Stock Exchange of Moldova SA as a market operator and authorized it to administer and operate a regulated market and a multilateral trading facility. All three authorizations are indefinite, and the commission approved the rules governing both trading venues, establishing the framework for transactions under its supervision. The commission also approved five qualified holdings representing 78.34% of the operator's share capital. These comprise Bucharest Stock Exchange with 26.67%, the Public Property Agency with 20%, Donaris Vienna Insurance Group with 11.67%, Grawe Carat Insurance with 10% and Moldova Agroindbank with 10%. Veronica Arpintin was confirmed as president of the executive body and Andrian Iastremschi as vice president, each for a three-year term.
