The European Financial Reporting Advisory Group has scheduled five outreach sessions in September to gather feedback on its exposure draft of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards for Certain Non-EU Undertakings. The events broaden engagement under the ongoing consultation on proposed reporting requirements for non-EU companies that will fall within Article 40a of the Accounting Directive. Sessions will be held for stakeholders in Mexico, Korea, the United States, Japan and the United Kingdom between Sept. 14 and Sept. 29, in partnership with national standard setters and professional organizations. EFRAG experts will explain key elements of the draft, discuss proposed changes and answer questions. Further events covering additional jurisdictions are planned.
