The Guernsey Financial Services Commission published a sanctions notice correcting the consolidated list entry for Marko PETROVIC (OFSI Group ID 17022; Unique ID GIM0007), who is designated under the UK Irregular Migration and Trafficking in Persons Sanctions Regulations 2025 as applied in the Bailiwick of Guernsey. The notice reminds all businesses to check whether they hold accounts for, or have any relationship with, the designated person (or others designated under the same legislation), to freeze without delay any funds, other assets or economic resources belonging to, owned, held or controlled by such persons (including derived interest or dividends and assets held for persons acting on their behalf or at their direction), and to avoid making funds or economic resources available to designated persons or entities they own or control except under a permitted derogation or licence. Any findings must be reported immediately to the States of Guernsey Policy & Resources Committee, and firms must also notify the Commission where an affected relationship is identified and provide a report in line with Handbook Rule 12.37, including the relevant name and the nature and value of the business relationship or transaction, after meeting the statutory reporting requirements under the Sanctions (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2018.
