At a workshop with insurance branch managers and other industry stakeholders in Tanzania’s Northern Zone, Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority Northern Zone Manager Dr. Emmanuel Lupilya urged insurers to pay valid claims promptly and develop products that reflect changing market needs. The claims message reinforces the authority’s continuing emphasis on timely settlement as a means of strengthening public trust and increasing insurance uptake. Lupilya called on insurers to align their offerings with expanding economic activity and emerging opportunities across the region. He also encouraged firms to prepare services and products for insurance needs arising from the Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly scheduled to take place in Arusha in October 2026.
