The Central Bank of Argentina has launched a public consultation process under which selected draft regulations under evaluation will be published for comment before any eventual approval, starting with a draft on special accounts for employment termination funds. Eligible drafts, as determined by the Board, will be made available on the BCRA’s institutional website for two weeks. Interested parties can submit article-specific improvement proposals by email, referencing the draft’s title and providing the sender’s name and national identity number; submissions are non-binding but will be considered during the review and may be incorporated where the BCRA deems them applicable. The first draft opened for consultation sets out implementing rules for special accounts for “Fondos de Cese Laboral”, in the context of Article 96 of Law 27,742 and Annex II of Decree 847/24.
