The Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) has appointed Vivid Money as the newest Validation Agent in the Global Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) System, enabling Vivid Money’s SME and freelancer clients across Europe to obtain LEIs through its standard know-your-customer and onboarding processes. The arrangement is delivered in partnership with Ubisecure RapidLEI and is positioned to support compliance with EU requirements including the Instant Payment Regulation (IPR), the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), and the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA). GLEIF also linked the integration to the Financial Action Task Force’s updated Recommendation 16, which highlights the LEI as a tool to improve payment transparency, and said Vivid Money’s Validation Agent role should help accelerate LEI adoption in areas such as cross-border payments, supply chain digitalization, and ESG reporting.
