The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that finance ministers and central bank governors of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation member states met in Bishkek under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz Republic. The meeting covered developments in the international financial system, further financial cooperation within the SCO, and monetary policy issues in member states, while interested SCO members noted progress in consultations on creating an SCO Development Bank. Participants also agreed to continue work on improving the organisation's financial infrastructure. A protocol was signed following the meeting.
