The Central Bank of the Republic of San Marino (CBSM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Institute for Innovation of the Republic of San Marino, setting out collaboration and information-sharing arrangements to support CBSM’s supervisory function over cryptoasset operators under its supervision. The MoU is intended to give full implementation and effectiveness to the control framework established by Delegated Decree No. 138 of 29 August 2024 on the regulation of distributed ledger technologies and CBSM implementing regulation No. 2024-03.
