The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic has taken enforcement action against foreign exchange bureaux for breaches of Kyrgyz Republic legislation and the National Bank’s regulatory requirements, including a temporary licence suspension and administrative fines. The licence of OsOO “Askar Cash” exchange bureau (licence dated 21 June 2023, No. 6539) was suspended from 26 December 2025 through 9 January 2026 inclusive; the bureau is located at 49 Baytik Baatyr Street, Bishkek. Separately, two exchange bureaux located in Bishkek were fined KGS 55,000 each.

OsOO “Askar Cash” exchange bureau's licence was suspended from 26 December 2025 to 9 January 2026. Additionally, two other bureaux in Bishkek were fined KGS 55,000 each.
