The Arab Monetary Fund published an update on training delivered by its Training and Capacity Building Institute during May and June 2026, reporting that 566 participants from 15 Arab countries took part in 18 virtual programmes. The programmes included training courses, workshops, a specialized seminar and an executive education programme, with content focused on building institutional and technical capacity across the region. The training covered macroeconomics, financial markets, digital financial services, green and sustainable finance, cybersecurity, compliance, risk management, tax policies, and economic and econometric analysis. Several programmes were delivered with Buna, the International Monetary Fund, the International Monetary Fund Middle East Center for Economics and Finance, HEC Paris, and the Financial Stability Institute of the Bank for International Settlements.
