The Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) has named Vivid Money as the newest Validation Agent in the Global LEI System, enabling Vivid Money’s small and medium-sized enterprise and freelancer clients across Europe to obtain Legal Entity Identifiers (LEIs) through its standard know-your-customer and onboarding processes in partnership with Ubisecure RapidLEI. GLEIF links the integration to simplifying regulatory compliance with the EU’s Instant Payment Regulation (IPR), the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA), and to supporting the Financial Action Task Force’s updated Recommendation 16, which highlights the LEI as a tool for payment transparency. The release also points to broader LEI adoption across financial and non-financial use cases, including cross-border payments, supply chain digitalization and ESG reporting.
