The Danish Financial Supervisory Authority has published a revised version of its analysis on the significant growth in priority loans, after identifying an error in the underlying code used to construct the early years of the time series. The authority said the analysis conclusions are unchanged. The correction relates to the analysis first published on 5 February 2026, where a number of loans were mistakenly excluded. As revised, the amount of priority loans issued in 2020 is DKK 85bn rather than approximately DKK 50bn as previously reported, while the overall finding remains that priority lending has increased substantially in recent years and represents a material share of new lending.
