The National Bank of Bulgaria and Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” signed a memorandum of cooperation setting out a framework for joint activities linking academic training with central banking practice and supporting students’ professional development. Under the memorandum, the National Bank of Bulgaria will support career orientation and development for Sofia University students and doctoral candidates through direct contacts and exchanges, meetings with leading experts, internships and practical training, and other initiatives related to the central bank’s functions. Sofia University will contribute by taking part in public lectures, discussions and other joint events, and the two institutions have already discussed future initiatives including new forums on key economic topics and more timely presentation of career opportunities at the central bank.
