The Dominican Republic's Pensions Superintendency (SIPEN) delivered a training session to more than 50 employees of the General Directorate of Retirement and Pensions (DGJP) aimed at strengthening their social security knowledge to improve the pension guidance provided to citizens. The workshop, led by SIPEN User Service Supervisor Carmen Pichardo, covered how the pension system operates, available benefits, eligibility requirements, and the role of effective financial planning for retirement. Participants also held technical Q&A discussions, and SIPEN complemented the session with a “Know your Future” stand offering personalised consultations on participants’ pension status and guidance on rights and obligations under the pension system.
