The European Payments Council (EPC) has released user guidelines for the EPC Directory Service (EDS) Web Graphical User Interface, setting out detailed instructions on how scheme participants and their technical providers should use the interface. The EDS can be accessed either through the Web GUI or via EDS application programming interfaces, including by Routing and/or Verification Mechanisms supporting the Verification Of Payee (VOP) scheme. Access to the Web GUI is available once VOP scheme adherence and EDS onboarding are completed, including user creation and activation on SWIFT’s “swift.com” user management platform, after which participants and RVMs can log in using their “swift.com” credentials.
