The Ukraine National Commission on Securities and Stock Market has published for public consultation a draft procedure on the use of electronic signatures by participants in the capital markets and organized commodity markets. The proposal would set the rules for using electronic signatures and electronic seals when creating, sending, processing and storing electronic documents, and would allow market participants to choose the type of electronic signature in line with applicable law. The draft also sets requirements for the use of qualified, advanced and simple electronic signatures, as well as electronic seals. The Commission has invited market participants and other interested parties to review the document and provide comments.
