The Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency has issued a public warning urging citizens to exercise caution after observing that XueX EG Investment Group continues activities aimed at defrauding the public, including operating under new names and using new communication channels. Hanfa noted media reports describing the operation as a pyramid or Ponzi scheme and stressed that XueX is not registered or supervised by Hanfa, meaning the agency is not authorised to take proceedings against it, and citizens should report suspected fraud to the police. Hanfa highlighted continued activity through new Telegram “investment groups”, a fake website using the domain www.sklcoinc.com, and access arrangements that involve either an entry fee of USD 300–1000 or an invitation code from acquaintances. It warned citizens not to join these groups or transfer money, even where invitations come from friends, and listed common fraud indicators including lack of authorisation or presence in Hanfa registers, promises of high and unrealistic profits, pressure to act quickly, inadequate website disclosures, possible use of falsified institutional logos and signatures, reliance on recruiting new members, and demands for additional payments to withdraw purported earnings.
