China's National Financial Regulatory Administration issued a notice repealing certain normative documents, withdrawing two legacy China Banking Regulatory Commission office circulars. The repealed documents are the 2014 notice on risk reminders for the management of banks’ self-service equipment (Yinjianbanfa [2014] No. 124) and the 2017 notice on further strengthening internal control and compliance management to prevent case risk (Yinjianbanfa [2017] No. 10). The notice was developed following broad consultation and is intended to improve the timeliness of the supervisory framework and better align regulatory policy with industry development needs. The administration said it will continue to monitor the consistency and coordination of the regulatory system and proceed with the ongoing clean-up of normative documents in line with the required procedures.
