The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario announced that Huston Loke will depart the regulator on 31 July 2025, ending more than six years of leadership. Loke served as FSRA’s first Executive Vice President, Market Conduct. His tenure included shaping FSRA’s regulatory approach in insurance conduct, mortgage brokering and title protection. Loke also chaired the Canadian Council of Insurance Regulators from 2023 to 2025, supporting national collaboration on consumer protection, and advanced initiatives to modernize licensing and strengthen stakeholder engagement in Ontario and across Canada. FSRA said a transition plan will be announced in the coming days.
