The Bank of the Lao has announced two leadership reassignments, moving one official from the Banking Institute to the Printing and Distribution Department and another from foreign exchange management to the Monetary Policy Department. The changes were presented as an organizational adjustment to align staffing with the bank's work requirements under new conditions. Under the changes, the deputy director of the Banking Institute becomes deputy head of the Printing and Distribution Department, while the deputy head of the Foreign Exchange Management Department becomes deputy head of the Monetary Policy Department. In remarks at the announcement ceremony, a deputy governor linked the move to the bank's staff rotation policy, saying it is intended to improve operational effectiveness and broaden leadership and management experience across functions.
