The European Financial Reporting Advisory Group welcomed the appointments of Steven Maijoor as chair of the IFRS Foundation Trustees, Sam Woods as chair of the International Accounting Standards Board and Laura Forzani as managing director of the IFRS Foundation. EFRAG plans to continue working with the new leaders to strengthen cooperation on accounting standards. It emphasized the role of dialogue in promoting consistent, comparable and transparent corporate reporting while reflecting the needs of different jurisdictions and stakeholders.
