The State Bank of Vietnam reported that it joined Sibos 2025 in Frankfurt, Germany, from 29 September to 2 October 2025 alongside major Vietnamese commercial banks, including the opening of a shared exhibition booth with Vietcombank, VietinBank and Agribank. The delegation also participated in the conference’s plenary opening session and used the event to engage with international counterparts and track emerging banking and payments trends. The update highlights planned participation in sessions covering the Payment Experience Initiative, Technology Footprint, Network Optionality and Alliance Connect Evolution. Alongside the conference programme, the delegation held bilateral meetings with international financial institutions, partner banks and technology firms focused on potential cooperation in cross-border payments, digital transformation, risk management and green finance. During the remaining Sibos 2025 working days, the delegation is expected to continue attending thematic discussions and partner meetings as part of its conference agenda.
