The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) is setting up a new Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) on auto insurance fraud and is seeking 8–10 experienced professionals to provide technical expertise and strategic advice. The TAC is intended to support FSRA’s Fraud & Abuse Strategy, developed in consultation with the Ministry of Finance, industry and consumer representatives, by helping FSRA quantify and improve detection, prevention and deterrence of auto insurance fraud. FSRA is seeking senior leaders with technical fraud expertise in claims, underwriting, fraud investigation, financial crime and/or fraud data analytics, and expects the TAC to complete its mandate by 31 December 2026.
