The Jordan Securities Commission (JSC) signed a memorandum of understanding with the Income and Sales Tax Department to develop cooperation across areas of mutual interest, within the legislation governing both bodies. The arrangement is intended to strengthen coordination between the capital market regulator and the tax authority, including through structured exchanges of information and expertise. The MoU covers joint research projects, cooperation in organizing workshops, seminars, conferences and other events, and the exchange of publications and scientific research results. It also provides for sharing information, sources and data subject to applicable legal constraints, periodic training programmes and lectures, technical cooperation between specialists, and consultations on reviewing and evaluating relevant legislation and policies upon request.
