Chile's Financial Market Commission (CMF) announced leadership changes across three General Directorates, with the current heads of Market Conduct Supervision, Studies and the General Legal Directorate stepping down and internal successors designated to take over in a deputy capacity from March 20. Daniel García, Nancy Silva and José Antonio Gaspar will leave their posts. Nicolás Álvarez, currently Director of Supervision of Fund Management Companies and Investment Advisors, will assume deputy leadership of the General Directorate of Market Conduct Supervision; Alfredo Pistelli, currently Director of Risk Analysis, will assume deputy leadership of the General Directorate of Studies; and Claudia Soriano, currently Director of Legal Supervision, will assume deputy leadership of the General Legal Directorate. The CMF framed the changes as a leadership renewal to address its priorities and challenges in a new stage.
