The Hong Kong Monetary Authority published results for three Exchange Fund Bill tenders, allotting HKD 89.596 billion against applications totaling HKD 272.435 billion. The bills will be issued on Aug. 26 and mature on Nov. 25, 2026, Feb. 24, 2027, and Aug. 25, 2027. The respective allotments were HKD 69.396 billion, HKD 15.2 billion and HKD 5 billion, with average yields of 2.77%, 2.91% and 3.02%. The highest accepted yields were 2.85%, 2.95% and 3.05%, with pro rata ratios at those levels of about 0%, 39% and 61%. The authority also scheduled two tenders for Sept. 1 covering HKD 67.682 billion of 91-day bills and HKD 16 billion of 182-day bills. The instruments will be issued on Sept. 2 and mature on Dec. 2, 2026, and March 3, 2027, respectively.
