The Central Bank of Cyprus has decided, under the Macroprudential Supervision of Institutions Laws of 2015 to 2022, to maintain the countercyclical buffer rate at 1.5%, with application from 14 January 2026.

The Central Bank of Cyprus will maintain the countercyclical buffer rate at 1.5% under the Macroprudential Supervision of Institutions Laws of 2015 to 2022, effective from 14 January 2026.
