The ADGM Financial Services Regulatory Authority has issued an alert to the financial services community and the public about a fraudulent loan scam promoted via https://instantloaninc.com/ by persons claiming to represent an entity called Instant Loan Inc. The website allegedly purports to offer loans to individuals and companies and then solicits fraudulent upfront payments for purported services in ADGM, including company incorporation. The alert warns that scam operators may falsely claim to represent ADGM to obtain personal or financial information or induce fund transfers, and may use official-sounding names, logos or documents to appear legitimate. ADGM stated it does not process loans and will not request upfront payments for loan processing, and the FSRA reminded users to verify identities through official channels, avoid sharing confidential financial details, and check the ADGM Registration Authority’s Public Register and the FSRA’s Public Register to confirm an entity’s status and any Financial Services Permission before dealing with it.
