Blocking actions are underway and may take several days for technical reasons. The cease-and-desist orders are published in IVASS’s “Difendiamoci dalle truffe” section, bringing the total number of sites subject to such orders since IVASS began exercising its blocking power in November 2023 to 265. IVASS also reiterated consumer guidance to verify, before paying premiums, that quotes and contracts refer to duly authorised insurers and intermediaries and to consult IVASS’s online registers and lists, particularly for short-term motor third-party liability policies.
