The Central Bank of the Republic of San Marino reported that its President, Catia Tomasetti, and Head of International Relations, Giuliano Battistini, held an official visit to Banque de France to explore cooperation on financial education. The meeting focused on exchanging institutional experience, strategic priorities and ongoing initiatives, and confirmed Banque de France’s willingness to share expertise and best practices to support the further development of San Marino’s financial education programme in the context of its European integration process and strengthening links with EU supervisory authorities. Discussions were held with representatives of Banque de France’s Financial Education Directorate, Gaëlle Albert and Édouard Gomet. The CBSM framed financial education as supporting informed decision-making by citizens and households and contributing to financial stability and inclusion, with particular emphasis on strengthening financial capabilities for women and vulnerable groups and reducing inequalities. CBSM expressed appreciation for the dialogue and noted both sides’ readiness to further develop cooperation in the areas discussed.
