The Securities Commission of The Bahamas issued a public notice warning that five named entities and their websites are not registered or licensed with the Commission and may be conducting, or purporting to conduct, registrable or licensable activities in or from within The Bahamas in breach of applicable securities and digital assets laws. The warning covers HILLTOPFXTRADE (https://www.hilltopfxtrade.com), KCMENUKUL INVESTMENT LIMITED (https://kcmenkul.com), NEUTRAALBIZ (https://neutraalbiz.com), PRIMEJAXTRADE (https://www.primejaxtrade.com) and TRANSEND GLOBAL TRADING (https://transendglobaltrading.com2). The Commission stated that none of the entities, or their agents or representatives, is registered or licensed with it and none has applied to be registered or licensed. The websites are described as offering securities trading or brokerage services and or digital asset business services, falsely claiming Commission authorisation and displaying fake or altered certificates whose unaltered originals belong to other regulated entities, conduct which the notice says may give rise to criminal prosecution and or regulatory sanctions.
