The National Commission for Financial Markets (CNPF) issued an alert warning that messages circulating on social media falsely claim that TUX has ceased operations and that investors can recover their investments. The regulator said these messages also falsely assert that certain international structures are collaborating with CNPF to return funds to investors, and stressed it has no involvement or connection to any such “fund return” recommendations, initiatives or structures linked to TUX. CNPF urged the public not to access links contained in the messages, not to share the misinformation, to verify information via official sources, and to report suspicious messages to the competent authorities.
