The European Central Bank has published the agenda for a payment service provider kick-off workshop on the digital euro pilot, to be held Sept. 29-30. The workshop will gather participants’ perspectives and expectations as the ECB prepares for the 12-month pilot scheduled to begin in the second half of 2027. Technical sessions will cover the pilot’s business scope and end-to-end flows, connectivity and application programming interfaces, specification documents, user testing and onboarding, operational support and offline functionality. The programme also includes an offline demonstration and question-and-answer sessions with ECB experts.
