The Central Bank of Uruguay announced that its president, Guillermo Tolosa, will deliver a lecture titled “Financial decisions: from memory to evidence” on July 29 as part of the institution’s Annual Economics Conference. The presentation will examine how household saving, investment and borrowing decisions shape economic growth and development. The lecture forms part of the conference’s broader agenda, which runs from July 27 to 30 and will bring together national and international speakers to discuss issues relevant to the Uruguayan and global economy. Tolosa’s session is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the Enrique V. Iglesias Hall.
