The Brazil Securities Commission (CVM), through its Superintendence of Corporate Relations (SEP), has cancelled the public company registrations of Springs Global Participações S.A. and Cia Tecidos Norte de Minas – Coteminas due to a failure to provide information to the regulator. Both companies are in judicial reorganization and had their registrations suspended on 16 August 2024. The cancellation, under Article 21 of Law 6,385, means the companies can no longer have their issued securities admitted to trading on regulated markets, including organised OTC platforms, exchanges, or unorganised OTC markets. SEP also noted that the measure does not exempt the companies, their controlling shareholders, or their directors and officers from liability for any prior infringements.
