The Thailand Securities & Exchange Commission has instructed JKN Global Group Public Company Limited to submit its rectified financial statements for 2023, audited by its auditor, to the SEC and to publicly disclose them via the Stock Exchange of Thailand’s Electronic Listed Company Information Transmission System (SETLink) without delay. The instruction follows the SEC’s decision not to grant JKN a further extension to the submission deadline. The SEC had previously required JKN to rectify its 2023 financial statements and submit the audited rectified statements to the SEC, alongside disclosure of related information under Section 56 of the Securities and Exchange Act B.E. 2535 (1992), and to publish the rectified statements and reports on SETLink by 11 July 2025. It then granted JKN an extension to 9 September 2025 due to the need for a special audit with an expanded scope. JKN subsequently sought a second extension, citing an incomplete special audit and the need to reflect its results, but the SEC concluded JKN could complete the rectification within the existing extension period and found no sufficient justification for any further delay, noting the importance of financial statements for investor decision-making and monitoring listed companies. JKN is expected to expedite submission of the rectified audited financial statements and related reports and to make prompt public disclosure via SETLink.
