The Central Bank of Bahrain announced it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, establishing an official partnership between the two authorities. The MoU was signed by Khalid Humaidan, Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain, and Melis Turgunbaev, Chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Central Bank of Bahrain characterised the agreement as a step to strengthen bilateral relations and expand opportunities for advancing the financial services sector.
