The Central Bank of Curaçao and Sint Maarten (CBCS), together with Kadaster Sint Maarten, has launched an online Property Price Index (PPI) dashboard to track real estate price developments across Sint Maarten. The tool is intended to support decision-making by individuals, businesses, and policymakers, and to help the CBCS assess potential financial stability impacts from property market movements, given that mortgages represent about 64.4% of outstanding loans in the local financial sector. The dashboard provides average and median prices for land parcels and apartment rights, along with mortgage and sales volumes across eight districts. The dataset is based on Kadaster transaction records, covers 2016 to March 2025, and will be updated quarterly. The CBCS plans to develop a similar real estate dashboard for Curaçao.
